Read while you quarantine: Book series to binge on while you are locked down

In our normal and busy life, not getting enough time to read our favorite books is a very bitter experience. Especially for book series, as the sequel takes quite a lot of time to get published which can make us wait for at least a whole year. But as we are under a pandemic and locked down with our bookshelves, it is the perfect time to binge them all at once.

This list names five complete book series that you should read during this quarantine. As each series has at least three books, you will find a beautiful escape amidst the enigma, conflicts and romance.

  1. The Folk of the Air by Holly Black

    Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, Fairest, Winter
    This series contains five books in total that retell the classic fairytales using a sci-fi twist. The first book Cinder is based on the story of Cinderella, while the next books are inspired by Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, and Snow White.

If you loved the classic stories of these Disney princesses, you will be amazed by Meyer’s technique of re-telling them in a futuristic world where cyborgs, androids, and a race of moon colonists all coexist and our fairy-tale ‘princesses’ come together to save each other.
