Night Circus is a book by Erin Morgensteiner. Built-in the medieval ages, this story revolves around a circus.
More than the character in the book, it’s the circus that will grasp your attention. The lives of the characters also are built and revolve around the circus. The author wrote it in a way that you do get hooked in the book but it doesn’t bring the thrill that comes with magical fiction. Rather it was a serene and sweet journey throughout the book.
Night circus was a ride too mundane but oddly satisfying. Being a big fan of magical worlds, I picked up this book. And I must say it lived up to my expectations. But what was missing in a book of magic is there were no thrills or excitements. Rather it was sweet and peaceful. And rather than the characters, it was the circus itself that kept me moving on. To put it simply, the book was intriguing, enchanting and sweet.
