” I think that if I ever have kids, and they are upset, I won’t tell them that people are starving in China or anything like that because it wouldn’t change the fact that they were upset. And even if somebody else has it much worse, that doesn’t really change the fact that you have what you have.”

These few lines can be considered as a great lesson for everyone who thinks they are good at parenting or will be a good one. Society is such a place where you need to follow the customs even you if have greater responsibilities than following them. So sad for a generation! Through the characters of Charlie, Sam & Patric, the writer tries to represent every young soul who is suffering in their own world without troubling anyone around them. Charlie’s life doesn’t highlight the foreign culture rather it is for everyone who is going through their adolescent period or has already passed.

Love, desire, friendship etc.all these words are very exciting in young age but not for everyone. Some people often haunted by some unwanted reality without having the privilege of forgetting them. Charlie will be such a character who will force you to remember your early days of life as well as gives you the chance to know his most undisclosed secret.

At the end, we all are wallflower or in the process of being a wallflower. To discover the meaning of wallflower, read the book and give your soul another chance to live completely not partly.🙂
